We travel to Savannah every year and stay at Planters Inn. We have found the rooms comfortable and the staff lovely and considerate. Also, it is across the street from THE PINK HOUSE, one of the best venues for food and music. This trip, I had opportunity to speak with the Manager, Mark and so enjoyed his conversation and kindness. Because the beds are so high and I am disabled, we needed a footstool to get me up in bed. Mark assures me he will keep one behind the desk for future visitors. It is a great hotel in the heart of beautiful Savannah and the parks, one of which is right across the street.

We discovered Planters Inn when we stopped at THE PINK HOUSE for dinner and music (Cole Porter, et al.) The lights of the beautiful lobby beckoned and we signed in for the first of many stays. From the delightful Mark to the housekeepers, we have always enjoyed the unique hospitality offered. Coffee in the morning to wine in the afternoon. The beautiful grand piano. The stepstool to climb into the fouposter beds. The convenience of a house computer. Planters Inn is a great pleasure in itself. I recommend it highly.
