Property Description

Bent Creek Lodge has the best of both worlds, being only 10 miles from the center of Asheville yet nestled in a forested triangle between the Blue Ridge Parkway and the French Broad River. The lodge feels like a remote mountain get-a-way. You can hike secluded trails right out your room door; within a half mile, you can start your drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway, visit the North Carolina Arboretum or launch a canoe on the French Broad River to float by the Biltmore Estate. It is only a short 15 minute drive to the fine restaurants, galleries, and shops in downtown Asheville, Biltmore Village, and the entrance to the Biltmore Estate. Some of the features that make Bent Creek Lodge unique are the open design of the kitchen, the spacious decks and porches with private entrances to the guest rooms, and the extensively landscaped grounds. From the back decks, a winding trail takes you past native perennials, trees, and shrubs down to the creek and the fire circle. From there, trails continue around the 160-acre Riverwind community, up to the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Mountain to Sea Trail, even into the adjacent North Carolina Arboretum.

Each morning, a full, delicious breakfast is served with seating anytime from 8:30am until 9:00am. Our complimentary breakfast always includes a selection of coffee and teas, homemade granola and yogurt, seasonal fruit, and juice. Your breakfast might be an egg frittata filled with veggies and cheese, spinach cakes with tomato gravy, or our delicious whole wheat waffles. Our pledge is, “stay as long as you like and never have the same breakfast twice.”Special dietary requirements or schedules are not a problem. A tasty alternative for any diet from vegan to gluten free is always available. For those with early morning plans, an alternative breakfast is available upon request.
