My wife and I needed parking in the SeaTac area for a week long trip and the Marriott lot was available so we booked it. Circumstances caused a flight cancellation for our trip and so we were basically stranded at the airport at 8am and we needed a hotel room for the night. Since we were parked at the Marriott I called to see if there was a room available and in fact there was and so I booked it. I had neglected to inquire about check in time which was 4:00pm so we were basically looking at the prospect of waiting 8 hours for a room. I failed to mention that my wife was feeling ill from a stomach bug and was in no condition to either fly or to sit in a public area for 8 hours. I immediately called Marriott back and pleaded for an earlier check in and to my relief we were told a room was available for immediate occupancy. We took the shuttle back to the hotel and we were in our beautiful king room within 10 minutes of our arrival. As my wife was recouping I was able to interact with multiple staff members from housekeeping to front desk and hospitality,restaurant and gift shop each individual was as helpful and friendly as the last. I was remiss in not writing down the names of the helpful staff members but based on the overall friendly and professional service we received from so many of the Marriott employees I would venture that the culture of consistency permeates throughout the whole property. Thank you so much.
