Super 8 is located just off I 40 and is easily accessible to downtown Nashville. Hermitage was once home to Andrew Jackson and his former plantation home is now preserved as a museum. I met with the GM, Niru Patel. The lobby is small, but functional with a seating area and computer for guest use. There is free guest Wi Fi throughout the property. The hotel is two stories with an elevator and exterior corridors. There is a breakfast area on the second floor which can also be used as a small meeting space. Complimentary breakfast is offered each morning. They are just finishing a full room renovation that will conclude with new lamps and flat screen TVs by the end of year. The rooms are spacious offering microwaves, refrigerators, coffee makers and hair dryers in the bathroom. The property also has an indoor pool and guest laundry. Super 8 is a great fit for the economy traveler.
