The Bienville House is conveniently located in the French Quarter but far enough from Bourbon Street to enjoy the calm. You can see the river from some of the balcony rooms. We had a courtyard room and loved the ability to walk out into a small seating area for a cocktail. The room was very nice with plenty of space, a comfortable bed, and modern bathroom. This hotel has so much charm and those who work there are delightful. Always warmly greeting you, asking about your day and offering great suggestions for restaurants and sightseeing. There is a small pool in a pretty courtyard and a bar/restaurant. This is our second time staying here and will definitely stay again.
