Constructed in 1937, Timberline Lodge stands on the south slope of Mt. Hood at an elevation of 6,000 feet. This beautiful 55,000 square foot structure rises out of a pristine alpine landscape and is still being used for its original intent – a magnificent ski lodge and mountain retreat for everyone to enjoy. Legendary and awe-inspiring, it's a tribute to the rugged spirit of the Pacific Northwest. Declared a National Historic Landmark in 1977, Timberline Lodge is one of Oregon’s most popular tourist attractions, drawing nearly two million visitors every year.Considered an architectural wonder, it's still being used for its original intent-a magnificent ski lodge and mountain retreat for all to enjoy with year-round skiing, first class cuisine, spacious event rooms, and distinguished hospitality. Timberline Lodge is filled with amazing spaces. The main headhouse features three fireplaces at the base of a 90 foot chimney. The outdoor patios offer the most stunning views in Oregon. The outdoor pool is heated and open year round. Each room in Timberline Lodge has a unique rustic elegance, yet a modern and comfortable feel. All rooms have period furnishings, artwork, and decor. Hotel rooms range from premier fireplace rooms to European style bunk rooms. Additionally, Timberline has six luxury condominiums located in the nearby village of Government Camp, each fully-furnished with gourmet kitchens, fireplaces, and balconies. Timberline’s event venues accommodate a variety of functions both formal and casual, from family reunions and weddings to corporate retreats and conferences. The Raven's Nest can accommodate up to 150 for a reception or 90 for a banquet and features soaring beamed ceilings and stunning views of Mt. Hood behind the lodge and Mt. Jefferson to the south. Ullman Hall is Timberline's largest event space with reception space for 275. Ullman Hall can be divided into two separate venues, the Mt. Hood Room and the Mt. Jefferson Room. Timberline Lodge has several other indoor event spaces as well. Outdoors, the Ullman Patio and the Amphitheater are beautiful wedding settings with Mt. The winter season begins early to mid-November and continues through Memorial Day. Our Palmer Express high-speed quad lift allows us to operate later into the summer season, usually through Labor Day. Local Shuttle Info: The Timberline Resort Shuttle operates on weekends and holidays, 8am - 6pm, through March. Riding the shuttle is free for Timberline and Fusion season pass holders and Timberline online lift ticket holders. The shuttle offers continuous circulation between Timberline Lodge and Government Camp.The Mt. Hood Express bus services communities along Highway 26, running from the City of Sandy east to Timberline Lodge. Just $2 each way gets you a seat.
Breakfast Information
Breakfast banquets can be arranged for groups or guests can enjoy an elaborate breakfast buffet at Timberline's Cascade Dining Room. For more casual fare, breakfast can also be enjoyed at the Wy'East Cafe in Timberline's Wy'East Day Lodge.

Parking Info
Guest parking is reserved in front of the historic lodge. Snopark permits are required in the winter and can be purchased at check-in. No parking fees are required in the summer.

Cleaning Policies
Hotel capacity has been determined by our ability to effectively manage Covid protocols and response. Guests can expect enhanced cleaning standards throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, meeting spaces, common areas, and back-of-house spaces. Cleaning products are in accordance with CDC guidelines. Guests will need to restrict gatherings in open areas such as the Head House and back patio. All current social distancing practices are in place with the goal of reducing person-to-person contact.
