Delta left me in bad shape Thursday evening, Jan 18th. My flight was delayed which made me miss my connection to Norfolk. I found the Renaissance. The nice young lady at the desk tried to help me and eventually involved her manager. I can't remember her name but she was as sweet as they come. She patiently tried to help me and eventually booked me straight in. By then it was 1:30am. I had been up for about 21 hours. No dinner for me that evening. So I went over to the in hotel store and picked up a drink and a couple snacks. Went back to the manager to pay and she said here you go! She did not charge me. I know she felt compassion for me. Again she was so sweet and so were the other two young ladies working that evening! That was huge and made my entire evening. Delta didn't seem to care but Renaissance did care. The manager is the best!
