If you like sleeping less than 15 feet from a major roadway, in a not-so-nice part of town, with the sound of trucks and sirens to lull you to sleep, this place might be for you. If you like hallways that smell funny, and rooms that smell heavily of chlorine when you walk in the door, this place might be for you. If you like a room with exposed sprinkler pipes running through it, and a sliding glass door on the street side at ground level, this place might be for you. If you like a place with what appear to be hookers and homeless people hanging around all the entrances, an armed guard in the lobby, and bullet-proof glass between you and the desk clerk but nothing to protect you, this might be the place for you. If you like run-down, shabby hotels that were probably just fine when they were built (80 years ago when that major roadway wasn't major, crime wasn't an issue in the area, one elevator was more than enough, and the carpet was the height of fashion), this might be the place for you. It was not, however, the place for me and my darling spouse. We left first thing the next day, instead of staying for three days, even though the clerk warned me I might have problems getting a refund since I used your service to book the room (your service has been very reasonable, by the way). On the positive side, the king-size bed was comfortable, as were the pillows; the air conditioner worked, and was loud enough to drown out some of the road noise (but not the trucks or sirens), the breakfast was okay and the coffee was pretty good. Oh, and the homeless lady by the door when I stepped outside for a cigarette was very polite.
