This is a very nice Wingate Hotel. The lobby area is bright, spacious and very clean. Front desk was very helpful when I entered and I was quickly accommodated. The breakfast area has plenty of seating and a full breakfast buffet is included in the rate. The business center is located right next to the front desk and equipped nicely. A board room is adjacent to the front desk and is available to rent. The meeting space can accommodate up to 60 people for a banquet, and customers are allowed to bring their own catering in or select from the hotel. The exercise room was moderate, but they anticipate doing some upgrades. The guest rooms seemed to be very large, and they had all new linens and furnishings. Microwave, refrigerator, iron, ironing board and hairdryer, flat panel television. Granite countertops in the bathroom. The hotel has 9 larger suites which provide a larger sitting area. Overall, I was extremely impressed with this hotel. The location is near Charlotte Motor Speedway, Concord Mills Outlet Mall, shopping and restaurants, and adjacent to I-85. A nice variety of restaurants are within walking distance with many more just a short drive down the street. Overall, a great group hotel and value!
